So it's father's day and d is away once again. Last year he was at ait, which yes we were able to see him but only at church. So it was very sad that we couldn't wake him up with breakfast, snuggle in bed as a little family of 3 and open gifts and cards without battles around.
Believe me I understand that there will be many more holiday's he misses and it will be something we have to get used to. It is just sad that his second father's day he is away from us again.
We hope to be able to see him next weekend. Not quite sure what day but sometime during weekend :) Brennen is very excited for his daddy to come home as am I.
We are going to try and celebrate it once he comes home as if he hadn't even missed it...
