Here comes peter cotton tail....

What a wonderful weekend...

It rained Saturday morning some.. We still went to the Easter eggs hunt which wasn't great. They made us wait for 30 Min's to go and hunt for the eggs( which were all thrown in the middle of a huge field).. Brennen was not happy about waiting.. Then we were told that we could only get 12 eggs. That also didn't go over well with my little boy.. He wanted to get all the eggs that his little hands could hold. I got some pictures of the hunting process...
I hated when we had to leave once we got the 12 eggs. It caused him to throw one of his NEW terrible two fits.. The kind where everyone is looking and waiting for you to do something about it...

Now as for Sunday.. What a wonderful day.. Went to church this morning for a great service then came home and took pictures..
And took our first family Easter picture EVER.We have been married for four Easter's now and since the year i was pregnant he had to work and then last year he was in basic. I was very excited to spend this one as a family.. Since who knows about next year. they can always call your number no matter what branch or mos you are... this is maybe one of my favorite pictures of us..
Brennen tearing into his baskets. He loved everything that he got...
All of the goodies that were in his baskets... His favorite has to be the chicka chicka boom boom book.. He found it three times this week and wanted me to read it..haha..
We finished all the Easter fun with a eggs hunt in to front yard.. which he didn't really care for. I believe he likes the competition part of finding the eggs.. such a boy...

I hope everyone has a wonderful and a hoppy Easter...

Happy Easter! Thanks for visiting my blog! The Dr. Seuss wall murals - the grinch, cat in the hat, fish, cindy lou etc. - were painted by me. (They were actually very easy :P) Take care!

Oh you guys are soooo cute!

About your Disney questions...you can email me at jmccown@liberty.edu and we can talk about it more in depth if you like but here's the basics: Lucy LOVED Disney but she hated the big furry character animals. That's normal until kids are like 3 or even older. So don't be surprised if your little one screams at them. (Saves you guys from standing in lines anyway) We took our own stroller, the one that came with our travel system. Best choice ever! I'm a spazz about germs so renting something a million other kids have sweated in sounded so gross. It wasn't hard to take the stroller around. Totally no big deal. We're going back twice this year and we'll still be taking the same one.

We've never stayed at Shades of Green. Its a GREAT location but I've only heard mixed reviews on it. People either loved it or thought it was sub-par as far as cleanliness and fascilities go. But 1 bad experience can happen anywhere and influence a lot of people so I'm sure its very nice. We stay at 1 of my families 2 time shares. That's the Disney Vacation Club so we stick with Bay Lake, and the Grand Floridian, except this next trip we'll be at another resort off site.

I've never stayed at any Disney resort besides the delux so I can't tell you a whole lot about those.

If you want any other tips and stuff like that please email me! Kids that young can have a lot of fun at DWorld but it cane be stressful too if you have certain expectations. I'm happy to answer any other questions you have :)
