A day with my man

Yeah so I bet you thought I meant D. Well we have gotten to go out alone lately which is a great treat but this post is about my other man, Brennen:) So While away at the beach we went to our special spot. The spot where we can spend hours of running around, playing hide and go seek and try to touch the clouds because we are swinging so high. Every time we visit the in laws we go to this park. I have loved it way before we ever had children or were married. Let me introduce you to the castle park :) This place is so cool to me, it has different levels and tunnels that you can go through, many swings and slides. We went to this park everyday while we were there. The weather was beautiful and it called to us. Brennen climbed through the tunnels and ran across the bouncy bridges until he was falling asleep standing up. He loves coming here and I do too.Playing hide and go seek with me. Running across the bouncy bridges Sliding down one of the many slides. Over all we had a wonderful time and I am so glad for the little bit of time we had to escape to our favorite place.. I love me some mommy and brennen time, now I think we will take a nap :)

So I had some cute valentine day post I was going to do yesterday and I took really cute pictures of him making cupcakes, but have not had the time to down load them= fail. So I guess I wont be post v day things like I had planned. But here is what we did instead.

So yesterday we went out to eat at a mexican restaurant with people from d's work, I don't know if I have mentioned this before but I am not a fan of valentines day. We always put too much pressure on making it perfect and then it will blow up in our face, so now we make it about brennen and spending some qt family time. That's just what we did and it was a great day.

We went shopping and I got some new duper cute flats, camera holder I have been wanting and a headband. We bought brennen this cookie jar counter from tjmaxx*best place ever* and he loves it. It will ask questions like "where is the number 4 cookie" and "count with me" as you out the cookies in the top of the jar. Now he can already count to 10 by himself but I want him to get good at picking out the numbers and I think this will help. Well i need to get ready to go and get my hair cut :) then off to the park for a picnic lunch..

really again??

Well last night it started snowing at my house again.. *after 10 mins of it falling*
The state i live in your lucky to get 1 inch and they close down the school.. Believe me it wasn't a lot but for it have snowed 4 or 5 times this winter is unheard of. So what do we do, oh course we play in it. Went out last night for about 15 mins,I had to drag him in kicking and screaming. When we woke up this morning we went out again for maybe 30 mins. After awhile of being outside he wanted his gloves off, so fine taken them off you will be sorry and sorry he was. Within 10 mins of taking them off he wanted to go in. But before all that we built a snowman. We bought this snowman kit in november from tjmaxx. It has a scarf, hat, buttons, eyes, carrot nose, and pipe. Well it is for a bigger snowman I guess. But the snow would not pack right so all we got was a little one.It still was fun and glad he got to play in the snow but man am I ready for spring. Im just asking for dresses, jeans and tanks with a little flip flops on the side, nothing crazy. Im ready to let him play outside without a huge jacket, hat and gloves. Oh well I guess I should enjoy it while it last...

beach bound

Yep were going to the beach real soon. D has to go to the beach area for work and so brennen and I are tagging along. Just so happens D's dad and step mom live 2 mins away from where were staying so were going down early and staying late so we can spend time with them.. We are super excited.. Our hotel has an indoor pool which i'm excited about. Brennen has no been swimming since september so we will see if he still enjoys it still. I will also get to take him to my favorite castle park and go for runs and I CANT WAIT!!!!!

Now the packing much take place. I am having to pack food since going out of town is expensive, so brennen and I will eat at the hotel every meal minus one or 2 dinners since were trying to save money.

mood changer

What do you do when your having a bad day?? Some people sit around and do nothing well I like to run. It gives me time to think and clear my head. I love it. So today I am having major phone issues and they had to send it off to get repaired. Then to top it all off all I want to do is vent about it and D calls me spoiled and tells me to get over it. Well lets just say it put me in the worse mood. So I decided to put on my running shoes and get to it. However since it is still really cold here and I didn't want to take the little man out in the cold I ran on the treadmill. I ran 3 miles and feel great. Then wanted to do more so I did 30 sit ups. I know not a lot but I have never been about to do them since I have had brennen. I hope to work my way up to several hundreds every week. I feel so much better now, but the best part was brennen acting like he was running on the treadmill and doing sit ups too... Man does he just melt my heart... Until next time...

So it has rained for days and days now. It stinks. So what is there to do when you have been trapped in the house for days?? You go and play in it..And lets just say he had a ton of fun running around, jumping in the puddles and carrying the umbrella :P
