wordless wednesday

new and up comings things...

Well lately i have been kinda worried about brennen and his talking problems.. He is 20 months and only says about 10 words daily. I know i know he should be saying 30+ words at his age and getting ready to put them together. Well he doesnt and so we have had several conversations with his doctor about it and she keeps saying its fine( with a worried face) and we will talk more about it next appointment. Well that was his 12 month appointment and then at 15 months it was the same and then at 18 the same. I am about fed up with her. We have asked about going to an ent for his ears since he has had so many ear infections and she tells us NO... Well thats it. I am in the process of moving my son to a doctor who cares and we are seeing an ent may 3rd. I have had several friends that USED her and left b/c they had the same issues. So were done... We are also getting his hearing checked after they look at his ears. Since 1) there might be damage from impaction or infections or 2) he might not be able to hear us clearly enough to repeat what were saying. Which might be the reason for the anger he has and the bitting.. (he cant tell us why he is mad and doesnt know how to show it but to bite someone) which he hasnt in about a week and a half... Which is super great. Were hoping that we can find out more when we see this ent on the 3rd. And give us a reason for the lack of talking. Some people say that their kids did the same thing and are fine.. Well we can tell he wants to talk but just doesnt understand how to say everything.

We have a few more things going on too with him but nothing major, just thoughts.. But not to the point where we are talking about it yet.. There are also some things going on with d, but nothing i am allowed to say(so i have been told)... I hope to be able to talk about it soon.. Since i am HORRIBLE at keeping secrets.... And i really want some advice...

What a wonderful weekend...

It rained Saturday morning some.. We still went to the Easter eggs hunt which wasn't great. They made us wait for 30 Min's to go and hunt for the eggs( which were all thrown in the middle of a huge field).. Brennen was not happy about waiting.. Then we were told that we could only get 12 eggs. That also didn't go over well with my little boy.. He wanted to get all the eggs that his little hands could hold. I got some pictures of the hunting process...
I hated when we had to leave once we got the 12 eggs. It caused him to throw one of his NEW terrible two fits.. The kind where everyone is looking and waiting for you to do something about it...


Now as for Sunday.. What a wonderful day.. Went to church this morning for a great service then came home and took pictures..
And took our first family Easter picture EVER.We have been married for four Easter's now and since the year i was pregnant he had to work and then last year he was in basic. I was very excited to spend this one as a family.. Since who knows about next year. they can always call your number no matter what branch or mos you are... this is maybe one of my favorite pictures of us..

All of the goodies that were in his baskets... His favorite has to be the chicka chicka boom boom book.. He found it three times this week and wanted me to read it..haha..
We finished all the Easter fun with a eggs hunt in to front yard.. which he didn't really care for. I believe he likes the competition part of finding the eggs.. such a boy...
